Why Should You Consider Specialized Wellness Blood Testing?

“Could there be something going on with my metabolism?”

“How do I know if I am at risk for developing diabetes?”

“I have a family history of heart disease. How do I know if I am at risk?”

I often hear these questions being asked.

At Radiant Health Weight Loss and Wellness, we perform various wellness blood panels to help answer such questions.

As part of the services we offer, we do specialized lab testing. These tests give you a more in-depth picture into your metabolism and cardiac risk factors. This allows you to make changes to your lifestyle that can help PREVENT diseases like type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, high blood pressure, liver disease, heart disease and stroke and even help reduce risk for certain cancers.

As part of our medical weight management program, Your Journey, Your Way, and our Diabetes Prevention & Treatment Program, we do this testing to not only identify risk factors & chronic diseases, but also to guide your personalized medical and lifestyle treatment strategy.

Our 360 Wellness Check offers a wellness option to those who are looking for a one-time or annual comprehensive, specialized evaluation. Wellness blood testing done as part of this visit is the most comprehensive that we offer.

As part of a new service we are offering, you can now have specialized wellness blood testing even if you are not a patient of our practice. We want to be able to offer this to you so you can be armed with all the information you need to guide you in your health decisions.

Dr. Richa Mittal will order your tests after a 10 minute consultation, during which time she will review which panel would be most appropriate. As part of our personalized approach, a mobile phlebotomist will come to your home on a date of your choice and do your blood draw.

Once results are back, Dr. Mittal will review your results on a scheduled phone call.

Patients are responsible for discussing abnormal results with their primary care physician if such recommendations are made.

As they say, knowledge is power. If you can be better informed about your risks, it can make all the difference! Call us at to schedule your lab consultation appointment.
